Lara WPS My ethos is to provide a flexible service, with rapid response times. Lara WPS
LARA AYRIS MSc (Hons) Bsc (Hons) MCIWM

Lara’s initial working background was with the Chartered Institution of Waste Management (CIWM) and the Building Research Establishment, mainly focussed on Construction and Waste.

It was this experience that gave her the driving passion to found WPS (now WPSCC) in 2009 with the aim of assisting a few local construction companies to comply with the Site Waste Management Plan and Duty of Care regulations. Her ethos was to provide a flexible service with rapid response times, and to achieve this without impinging on site practices.

A direct result of Lara’s influence on the industry was demonstrated in 2012, when she won the coveted Outstanding Woman in Construction award.

Lara never stops learning and developing; she is now not only an accredited trainer with CIWM, but is also a part-time lecturer at Coventry University, speaking on waste management, hazardous waste and permitting.

In addition to these commitments, Lara can still be found on site several days a month, supporting her favourite clients whilst driving her business into the future.
