Local Labour Procurement

Local Labour Procurement Schedules

A local labour procurement strategy is usually a planning constraint.  In London specifically, it is part of the 106 agreement and WPS ensures that these strategies are written in compliance with the City of London Code of Practice.

WPS offers a flexible service whereby we can provide simply consultancy/support through to preparing the complete document, managing implementation on site, ongoing monitoring/reporting and liaising with Planning Control.

A local labour procurement strategy includes:- the forecasting and monitoring and how many local staff are due to be on site / are on site for each phase of the development, the training of those members of staff, how they will be sourced, how engagement with local schools will be managed and how community projects can benefit from the development.
