Waste Plan Solutions is celebrating its eight year of trading and anyone who is familiar with the Construction and Waste industries and the various relevant regulations will be aware of some of the hurdles which have had to be overcome during that time.
Waste Plan Solutions has had many successes over the years and has achieved various awards.
Waste Plan Solutions has the privilege of consistently working with many exciting clients and will continue to develop and diversify in order to ensure its ever changing client needs are satisfied to the highest standards possible.
What Makes Waste Plan Solutions Unique?
Waste Plan Solutions is unique for several reasons, but mainly:
- Flexibility of service offerings and delivery
- Rapid response to clients’ needs
- Satisfying a client’s needs without impinging on site practices
Waste Plan Solutions not only provides a ’complete waste management service’ when required, but will also train a client to be self-sufficient to manage their own waste management, environmental permitting and construction waste management needs.
Our knowledge of the construction industry within the team is very comprehensive and enables a unique empathy and understanding of our clients’ needs, which results in excellent working relationships, even if Lara does generate a few laughs by taking apples on to site for ‘Fresh Fruit Friday’!
Lara Ayris MSc (Hons) BSc (Hons) MCIWM
Lara’s initial working background was with the Chartered Institution of Waste Management (CIWM) and the Building Research Establishment, mainly focussed on Construction and Waste.
It was this experience that gave her the driving passion to found WPS in 2009 with the aim of assisting a few local construction companies to comply with the Site Waste Management Plan and Duty of Care regulations. Her ethos was to provide a flexible service, with rapid response times and to achieve all of this without impinging on site practices.
A direct result of Lara’s influence on the industry was reflected in 2012, when she won the coveted Outstanding Woman in Construction award.
Lara never stops learning and developing, she is now not only an accredited trainer with CIWM, but is also a part time lecturer at Coventry University (lecturing on waste management, hazardous waste and permitting).
Regardless, Lara can still be found on site several days a month supporting her ‘favourite’ clients, whilst driving the business into the future.
